On the 09th December 2009, the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was visited by a Turkish military delegation, led by LT GEN YURDAER OLCAN, deputy commander of the Turkish Defense Academies. The schedule of events included official talks between the members of the delegation and DRESMARA leadership regarding the development and organization of the educational process in the Romanian defense resources management field. |

On the 12th November 2009, the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was visited by a Chinese military delegation, led by LT GEN Zhu FAZHONG, deputy chief of the General Procurement department from the Chinese Liberation Army. The schedule of events included official talks between the members of the delegation and DRESMARA leadership regarding the development and organization of the educational process in the Romanian defense resources management field. |

Between 23-25 September, DRESMARA hosted the „Methodical conference with managerial teams from secondary and higher education military institutions”, organized by the Directorate of Training and Doctrine/ General Staff and the Human Resources Management Directorate. The conference was attended by managerial teams from the military education institutions, representatives from the Ministry of National Defense structures with attributions in the military education domain and guests from the Education, Research and Innovation Ministry, Romanian Agency for the Higher Education Quality Assurance (ARACIS) and Romanian Agency for the Secondary Education Quality Assurance (ARACIP). |

On 27 May 2009, DRESMARA hosted a military visiting group from Georgia led by the head of the Military Education and Training Service, MAJ David NOZADZE. The visit envisaged exchanges in this field involving specialized structures from our country. The delegation members were delivered a presentation of DRESMARA, and discussed general aspects of the educational process. |

On 15 May 2009, DRESMARA hosted the graduation ceremony when graduation certificates were handed to the participants in the postgraduate and specialization courses on „Defense Resources Management” for experts and senior official, which unfolded between 30 March – 15 May 2009, respectively, 16 February – 15 May 2009. The event enjoyed the presence of LT GEN Teodor FRUNZETI, professor, Ph.D. Rector of the National Defense University „Carol I”, the DRESMARA teaching and leading staff, course participants, representatives of the local authorities as well as media representatives. |

On April 2009 a team of professionals from the Romanian MoD Cinema Studio, which is part of the Romanian MoD Press Trust, made a documentary on DRESMARA. The film will be used as a marketing device in order to promote DRESMARA and its courses both at a national and at an international level. |

On 15 April 2009, the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies was visited by the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Angola, His Excellency general Kundi Paihama, who was accompanied by a military visiting group. The schedule of events included official talks with the DRESMARA leadership regarding the Romanian - Angolan cooperation in the field of military education and defense resources management policies. |

Between 26 - 27 March 2009 students from the United States Air Force Academy visited the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management. They attended a DRESMARA presentation and discussed about the educational process development and organization. |

An interview entitled "NATO Standards at the Foot of Tampa Hill" given by DRESMARA director Col. Eng. Viorel Dumea, PhD was published in issue no.11, 25 - 31 March 2009, of "The Military Observer". The interview refers to the current education activity and the perspectives. |

On the 13 February 2009 a Jordanian delegation of students of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College (RJNDC) visited the Regional Department of Defense Resources Management Studies; the schedule included discussions between DRESMARA officials and the Jordanian delegation concerning the development and organization of the educational process in the defense resources management domain. |
